Our Story
Who We Are
Top Dog K9 is a Fort Walton Beach, FL–based nonprofit that raises and trains German Shepherds to support children with autism, veterans with PTSD, and adults with disabilities. Our mission is to restore freedom, confidence, and connection—one trained dog at a time.
- Compassionate Companions — Carefully trained for unique individual needs.
- Community-Focused — Proudly serving families in Fort Walton Beach, and across Northwest Florida.
- Empowered by You — Fully self-funded, thanks to local generosity.
To help fund our mission we also breed and sell AKC German Shepherd Puppies to the general public for awesome forever pets!

Our Puppies
All of our puppies are raised with care from the very beginning. They are born indoors in a safe, nurturing environment and receive both mother’s milk and supplemental bottle feeding to ensure strong development. Each puppy is kept up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and receives a full veterinary health exam.
Every puppy comes with:
-
A Florida Health Certificate
-
AKC registration papers
-
Early socialization and training
Training begins as early as six weeks old with basic commands. Once vaccinations are complete, puppies progress to leash training and crate training, giving them a strong foundation for future service work.
